African Buffalo

Also known as the Cape buffalo, the African Buffalo is a distant relative of the Asian Water Buffalo. They live near water in herds of 100 animals or more, wallowing in the mud during the day and eating grass at night. Both males and females have horns. They are dangerous animals that are known to attack even lions when angered.
